The Client

Empower Rehab is a multi-disciplinary practice in Melbourne’s north east with national impact. Established (and run) by a psychologist and a physiotherapist, the clinic caters to traditional Psych and Physio clients but specialises in pain management through its multi-disciplinary approach.

The Brief

A long-term client of Fondu, Empower asked us to develop a website that allowed for distinctly different visitor groups: clients with pain, traditional psych and physical needs; referring health professionals; potential employees and potential attendees of Empower’s national training workshop programmes. The client wished for the one site to effectively channel all visitors into their most appropriate area; the three main groups of visitors effectively having little overlap in content.

Development

We talked at length about the structure, grouping and delivery of site’s information; from there Fondu defined a master site map that informed our design concepts and development. Fondu formed visuals in keeping with the existing visual style (which we’d also designed), and our web developers faithfully transferred the style to both desktop and mobile versions of the website.
Working with Matt in updating our website was fantastic. We had three distinct parts to our business, which he developed an understanding of, before creating a website that captured the needs of the business, allowing it to be accessible for our clients and workshop participants.
We can now direct people to one site, and they can then find out more about what we offer. Matt developed a site that allows us to edit content based on the needs of the business, but we continue to have the back up of his skills when required.

Director, Empower Rehab

Launched in 2012, the site is regularly updated: by Fondu for functional upgrades and in content by the client, who regularly post ‘hot topic’ articles which are linked back to their social media presence.
