Working freelance, our senior designer developed the identity for this lifestyle brand, then stuck around to work on some packaging, and wound up working in-house for 5 years, developing multiple brands, packaging, point-of-sale systems, trade and retail catalogues, websites, products and a retail how-to infotainment DVD along the way.
Primarily concerned with ponds, water features and decorative lifestyle products, Waterwerks unfortunately fell victim to the nation-wide drought of 2006-09, but was responsible for enlarging the entire water feature category in Australian retail hardware.
One of ‘our’ photos is still used in a major retailer’s in-house signage for the (reinvigorated) category today.
